Hello everyone. this is my first blog here, so please ignore any amateur mistakes. Today I want to share with you 5 books I read that blow my mind away. All these books are from different genres but they are all really great books to read if you want to start reading.
OUTBREAK- ROBIN COOK:
Outbreak is a medical suspense novel wrote by Robin Cook. It does contain some medical terminologies but you can understand them quite easily. The novel contains thrilling and fast-moving story that captures your attention.
MURDER AND MYSTERY REACH EPIDERMIC PROPORTIONS WHEN A DEVASTATING PLAGUE SWEEPS THE COUNTRY, KILLING ALL IN ITS PATH. DR. MARISSA BLUMENTHAL OF THE ATLANTA CENTER FOR DISEASE CONTROL INVESTIGATES- AND SOON UNCOVERS THE MEDICAL WORLD`S DEADLIEST SECRET.
NINETEEN MINUTES BY JODI PICOULT:
It says on the book that it is a thriller novel but I personally don`t think it is a thriller. It does have a good twist in the end but it is not a thriller. This story provokes your mind to think what would you have done if you were in that same situation. The first chapters might be a bit boring but the story catches a fast pace in the mid.
Sterling is an ordinary New Hampshire town where nothing ever happens–until the day its complacency is shattered by an act of violence. Josie Cormier, the daughter of the judge sitting on the case, should be the state’s best witness, but she can’t remember what happened before her very own eyes–or can she?
ANGELS AND DEMONS BY DAN BROWN:
Now this is the book that I utterly love. From the first chapter it captivates your attention and you wont be able to put it down. It`s a conspiracy, mystery and thriller novel that provides you with good facts too. It is the first book of the Robert Langdon series. Only the main protagonist is the same in the series, the stories are all different so if you are reluctant to read the book, don`t be.
A WORLD- RENOWNED SCIENTIST IS FOUND BRUTALLY MURDERED WITH A MYSTERIOUS SYMBOL SEARED ONTO HIS CHEST. THE COLLEGE OF CARDINALS ASSEMBLES TO ELECT A NEW POPE. SOMEWHERE BENEATH THEM, AN UNSTOPPABLE BOMB OF TERRIFYING POWER RELENTLESSLY COUNTS DOWN TO OBLIVION. HARVARD PROF. ROBERT LANGDON MUST RACE AGAINST TIME AND DECIPHER A LABYRINTHINE TRAIL OF ANCIENT SYMBOLS IF HE IS TO DEFEAT THOSE RESPONSIBLE.
A BEND IN THE ROAD BY NICHOLAS SPARKS:
This is the book that most of you might not enjoy if you hate love stories. Regardless, of that it is a good mystery novel that you might not be able to put down. it is about the human imperfections, the choices we make that change our lives forever and the consequences of those choices. It is a good book if you want a mid pace story or want to take a break from thriller and suspense.
Miles Ryan’s life seemed to end the day his wife Missy was killed in a hit-and-run accident two years ago. As deputy sheriff of New Bern, North Carolina, he not only grieves for her and worries about their young son Jonah but longs to bring the unknown driver to justice. Then Miles meets Sarah Andrews, Jonah’s second grade teacher. A young woman recovering from a difficult divorce, Sarah moved to New Bern hoping to start over. Tentatively, Miles and Sarah reach out to each other… soon they are falling in love. But what neither realizes is that they are also bound together by a shocking secret, one that will force them to reexamine everything they believe in- including their love.
NOTHING LASTS FOREVER BY SIDNEY SHELDON:
Again this is the book most of you will love. It is a crime fiction novel that captivates the reader attention from the first page. It revolves around a trial of Dr. Paige Taylor that inherits a million dollars from a patient that courts believes she murdered. Not a fast-moving story but does not bore the reader either.
Three female doctors trying to prove themselves in a profession dominated by men. Each of them has their own story, and each of their tales are well connected and intertwined with each other. But suddenly there is chaos, one dies, another is about to get the hospital shut down, and the third faces the death penalty for murder.
If you are thinking of starting to read novels these will be pretty good one to start with. Remember they might seem boring the first 2-3 chapters but they recover their pace and deliver at the end. Hope you enjoy these like I did. Thank you 🙂
